These bulbs are very compact and lightweight. They also don’t produce a lot of heat, and they seem to have a good track record of not having the power transformer failing (since LEDs typically run at 5 volts, and need to drop the 120 current down with some sort of transformer). These particular bulbs are very warm in color, like incandescent bulbs. They are quite small, so fit very well in ceiling fixtures of any kind. Their light weight is nice when using in smaller lamps also. I have also used these with bulb socket splitters (sometimes using 3 splitters to put 4 bulbs into a socket), and it’s nice that the total weight is still minimal, and that setup makes an excellent work light.
